Whit's End is going crazy!! What's going on?! This is a major year for Adventures in Odyssey. It featured the first Odyssey saga and the town's first villian, Dr. Regis Blackgaard. In the process we find out more about Whit and his past, such as him working for the US department of defense. There really is much more to Whit and his shop than meets the eye. Whit's first major invention was introduced in this year, The Imagination Station, and used by Digger Digwillow to travel back in time and witnesses the crucifixtion of Jesus Christ. This event becomes the reason for the building of Wonderworld in the woods near Odyssey. Many new and long-running characters have their beginings in this year such as: Robyn & Dale Jacobs, Oscar, Jack, Nicholas Adamsworth, Dr. Blackgaard, Richard Maxwell, Issac Morton, and Jesse Morales. Then, Whit's family makes a rare appearance during Christmas time. We also say goodbye to Officer David Harley in this year until he is recreated as Harlow Doyle (Private Eye) later.
