Something big is happening. A mysterious government agent rolls into town, Whit spends late nights working at his shop and is being very secretive, and Connie is getting suspicious. What's going on? It's Eugene! He has returned with amnesia and is trying to get his memory back. And, after his dramatic return, he and Katrina attempt to repeat their wedding vows in front of their friends in Odyssey, since they missed the first one. But life isn't back to normal for Eugene. With life having gone one without him, Eugene decides to follow God in a new direction - starting an organization to help people in crisis. Meanwhile, Marvin Washington begins his own garage band, Wooton meets a mysterious kid every Tuesday, the popular show "America Sings!" comes to Odyssey looking for contestants, Tom is sued, Rusty Malone writes a slanderous book about Odyssey, and Aubrey moves away from home to attend college. But, most amazingly, Eugene recounts his and Katrina's trip to Africa which leads to his remarkable discovery about his long lost parents.
